- Dr. Alexis Tindall was born and raised in Los Angeles County. From a young age she has aspire to pursue a career that encompasses her passions for medicine, human connection, and bettering the relationship between people and their pets. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Shortly after, she went on to each her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. As a practicing Veterinarian she quickly developed a special interest in dentistry, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Tindall finds tremendous joy in team building and collaborative medicine. As Executive Medical Directory, she is excited to bridge the gap between clients and the relationship with their veterinarians by creating an environment that is welcoming, understanding, and empathetic.
Dr. Tindall believes in the importance of “work hard, play hard”. She enjoys skateboarding down the coast with her dog Ryder, playing acoustic guitar, traveling with her fiancée, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Rob Brooks grew up in South-east England, moving to Connecticut where he attended high school. After earning a B.S. in Biology at SUNY Geneseo, Dr. Brooks followed his passion for working with animals and studied veterinary medicine at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Upon graduating in 2015, Dr. Brooks returned to the U.S. and worked as a general practitioner in Temecula, CA for about 18 months before starting to moonlight as an Emergency Veterinarian. Enjoying the challenges of emergency medicine, he transitioned to working full time as an emergency veterinarian in San Diego before accompanying his wife to Oahu to pursue her career as a veterinary medicine Criticalist. Returning to San Diego to raise his family; Dr. Brooks is excited for continuing to provide urgent care services and promoting preventative care, in particular dental health. When not at work he enjoys camping trips with his family, mountain biking, and home improvement projects.
